Today at 11am Isla (Y5) played ‘The Last Post’ on her cornet and then we held a minute silence to remember all those killed in conflicts fighting for their country.The end of the silence was signalled by Isla playing the Reveille.
“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning
We will remember them.”
