Year five and six have been studying the artist L.S. Lowry with Mrs Moulton. This term they have been looking at his style of painting. They have painted his characters just they way he did. Our Christmas play in KS2 this year was, ‘The Wizard of Oz’. It was a brilliant production which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. A big ‘well done’ to the Y3/Y4 choir too.
Y6 made their traditional Chocolate Yule Log at Christmas although I’m not sure how much chocolate actually made it onto the log!
Y5 & Y6 took part in a creative arts outreach project at Moreton Hall for 6 weeks. The children worked with music, drama and art specialists on a theme based around ‘Dreams’.
