This week we have been looking at food. We looked at food throughout the years focusing on food from the 1960s. We also looked where certain foods come from.
We looked at the world map and the seven continents. ( Ask your child if they remember any.) We had pictures of lots of different foods and the children put them in the correct continent.
After discussing the food from the 1960s at the beginning of the week, this afternoon we tasted spam butties and fruit cocktail which was a favourite for Sunday tea time.
