This week we began our new topic. We had a ‘topic hook’ morning where we went on a virtual class visit back in time to the streets of London in 1666. We then watched a film about two children who went back in time to September 1666 and met a man called Samuel Pepys. Afterwards we had a visit from the North Wales Fire Service to talk to us about how the Fire Service whelps people. We even heard a story about how they had rescued a cow from a swimming pool! We enjoyed trying on a helmet. We are hoping to have an engine come out to school soon so we can take a closer look.
The children have written lots of questions about what they would like to find out over the next few weeks.
