Over the last few weeks, we have been creating our very own space art compositions. To make our space backgrounds, we used paints and experimented with different tools, such as toothbrushes and sponges to create swirls, star clusters and rocket trails.
Next, we used pastels and special blending tools to design colourful planets.Â
We also looked at the contemporary space artist Peter Thorpe, who is known for his bright, eye catching rocket artwork. Inspired by his style, we drew and coloured our own rockets to add to our space scenes.
We are really proud of our finished pieces and hope you love them as much as we do!
