On Saturday 23rd March the Urdd Club had a long but enjoyable and successful day at the first rounds of the Urdd Eisteddfod. Following prelims in the morning nine of our children went through to the afternoon to compete in the individual recitation – a fantastic result. Five of these children were placed and will now go on to the County Eisteddfod on Saturday April 6th.
The Recitation Party and Parti Unsain are also through to the County Eisteddfod.
Not only did the children do Madras proud on stage, their behaviour throughout the day was exceptional!
There will be a rehearsal for all children who are competing in the County Eisteddfod on Friday 29th March 3.15 – 4.15pm and Friday 5th April 3.15 -4.15pm.
