🔬 Science Made Simple 🧪

Exciting STEM Workshop Day!
This week, years 3 and 4 joined a super fun STEM workshop, which introduced five STEM role models, with Welsh connections. We learned about lots of different jobs and the special qualities that help people do those jobs really well. We learned about some cool scientists who work on space missions. Laura Gibbs is a Cryogenic Engineer who helps keep things super cold in space. Dominic Roberts is a Radio Frequency Engineer who works with satellites to help them communicate back to Earth. Space jobs are really exciting! Over the next few weeks, we’ll be exploring the qualities discussed and spotting when we use them ourselves. We’re excited to help everyone think about the amazing careers they might want to have in the future.
