To celebrate Sir David Attenborough’s birthday, we spent the morning researching his incredible life and achievements before writing some imaginative kennings inspired by his work. In the afternoon, the children worked together to build habitat havens and used natural resources to spell out his age – a wonderful mix of creativity, teamwork and appreciation for the natural world.
