We used Micro:bit to send morse code messages to a partner across the classroom. To do this we had to code a program which involved devising a coded string of commands over a specific radio wave (paired with partner). Our focus this week was Remembrance Sunday. We made poppies out of wooden discs and used nails to vary the design. We made dens, used the hammock, made poppy wreathes out of leaves and put on a play on the outdoor stage. Dros ryddid collasant eu gwaed. Byddwyn yn eu cofio.
Class Four: A visit to ‘The Storyhouse’ On Friday 27th October we visited ‘The Storyhouse’ in Chester to watch a production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. Class Four: Coding Micro:bit to track fitness We devised a coding sequence to instruct Micro:bit to track our fitness. We then wore it on or wrist or popped it in our sock. It transferred the information back to the laptop!
Class 4: A trip to Manchester On Tuesday 27th June Year 5 & 6 visited The Lowry and Imperial War Museum.
