We have had a busy few days celebrating Chinese New Year. In assembly Mrs Jarvis told us the story of the 12 animals in the Chinese Zodiac. We acted out the race. We also watched how the Chinese prepare and celebrate Chinese New Year. We celebrated by making lanterns, making dragons, doing a dragon dance in PE, making snakes and writing snake in Chinese, as it is the year of the snake. We tried some Chinese food and we finished the week off with a chopstick challenge.
