Class 1: Diwali

We have been learning about the Hindu Festival of Light, Diwali.

We read the story of Rama and Sita.  We then acted out the story, we made Rangoli patterns on the yard.  In the afternoon we made Diwa lamps, made cards and tried some Indian snacks.
