As part of out topic Penley we have been looking at the important buildings in our Village. One of those buildings is our school. We have learnt that the style of our school was brought back from Madras in India by the 2nd Lord Kenyon in 1800s, the school was then built in 1811.
Before half term we found out lots of facts about India and we tried some Indian food. We had curry, pilau rice, naan bread, mango chutney and poppadoms.
