Mini Chess Tournament
On Wednesday, we took eight of our pupils to St Mary’s in Overton to compete in a mini chess tournament. The atmosphere was intense, with some truly impressive strategic thinking on display from all involved.
I couldn’t be prouder of our pupils—their behaviour, attitude, and eagerness to take part were outstanding throughout the event.
After a series of closely contested games, the tournament ended in a draw: Madras 10.5 – St Mary’s 10.5.
Well done to everyone who took part—you represented Madras brilliantly!
