Today the Red Cross visited us and delivered Emergency First Aid training. This is a lovely link to our Christan value of Koinonia – being part of a community, being able to help each other in a community. We learned that we must not endanger ourselves when administering first aid, we must think about stranger danger or any environmental danger around the casualty. We learned how to check for breathing, put patients in the recovery position and to ring for help.
