This term our topic is Wonderful Wales. Last week we looked at where Wales was in Great Britain. Today we have looked at the map of Wales. We used atlases and IPads to identify where we live, the capital city and North & South Wales.
Celebrating Chinese New Year
We found out all about the celebrations, facts, foods and traditions of Chinese New Year. We made lanterns, dragons, had a chop stick challenge and played in Mrs Jarvis’ Chinese Restaurant.
St David Day – Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus
We have been doing lots of activities to celebrate St David’s day. We made flags and daffodils and we painted dragons. We wrote about St David and how people in Wales celebrate.
