Autumn Term 2021

Autumn Celebrations in Nursery!

n In Nursery we have been learning all about Autumn and on Friday 3rd December we had a day of celebrations to finish our topic.

As part of our Autumn day, we worked on activities to consolidate the skills we have been learning and we had lots of fun.

Next week we will start our Christmas activities and we are all very excited. We have our Christmas dinner this week, then the following week we will perform our Nativity, then the last week we will be having a party and a Christmas fun day. We will making lots of craft to bring home so leave some space on the tree!

As part of our Christmas topic, we will be learning about Christmas in Wales and Australia. We have many different areas in our classroom, a cosy book nook with our Christmas tree, a writing table to sit and write cards, a Nativity role-play area, and a Christmas craft station and lots more! We have been looking at patterns, and have been on a hunt to find patterns in our environment. We will be making some Christmas bunting with lots of patterned paper to decorate our classroom.

All of this and preparing for our Nativity performance, it is a very exciting and busy time.

Enjoying our Christmas Lunch!
