We have had a fabulous day today on our school trip to the Runway Centre in Manchester. The children’s behaviour was exemplary and the weather was glorious. We began out tour inside a real aeroplane which is now used as a classroom. We went into the cock pit where we learnt how to fly a plane and we found out about all the different types of jobs at the airport. We then went onto the observation deck where we saw lots of planes taking off and landing. Our tour guide told us where they were going to or coming from then we found the countries on the maps. We then went to see Concorde. We finished our trip off with a picnic on the grass and a run around before we headed off back home.
