Once again, our Urdd club were successful in gaining a place in the finals this year.
On Monday 28th Roan travelled to Builth Wells to compete in the Cookery competition. An amazing achievement and we are all so proud. He cooked 2 dishes, Crunchy Asian salad and Tagliatelle Bolognese.
This took place in front of a large audience in a kitchen that was worthy of BBC’S Bakeoff!
He remained calm and collected all through the competition and his dishes were extremely tasty! A huge thank you must go to Mrs Moulton who gave up her time to coach Roan, and it must be said was more nervous than Roan on the day!
The Cerdd Dant Party and Parti Unsain travelled down very early on the Tuesday morning. We arrived on the field and went straight into our first competition! Both parties sang well, and although we didn’t make stage with either, a very enjoyable day was had by all.
Under the guidance of the very talented Mrs Moulton, we also had some success in the County rounds of the Art/Craft competitions.
A huge thank you and well done to the children who took part this year.
