Today, our class enjoyed sharing their learning in a special assembly all about space. The children performed a poem called ‘The Alien in our Bin’, each choosing how to deliver their own verse and whether to add actions. They also shared space facts they had researched themselves.
We finished with a song, ‘If I had a Rocket’, and displayed some fantastic space-themed artwork. The children had recreated pieces inspired by Lucien Rudaux, a French astronomer, and Alexei Leonov, a Russian cosmonaut.
Thank you to everyone who came along to support us, and for the generous contributions to our class fund from the cake sale. We hope you enjoyed the assembly and look forward to welcoming you again next time!
