Reception: Fruit Kebabs and Patterns
This week we have been looking at patterns. We made fruit kebabs with patterns and had them as our snack, they were very yummy. We also found different things in the class we can make patterns out of.

Reception: Drop Everything And Read session
This afternoon we had our first DEAR session. We could choose where we sat and we chose a book. We enjoyed talking about the books with our friends!
Reception: Symmetry
We have been looking at symmetry this week. We made pizzas, matched Humpty Dumpty back together, made some symmetrical butterflies and had a go at making our own patterns.

Reception: November 5th Remember remember the 5th of November! What fun we had finding out all about Guy Fawkes and Bonfire Night.

Yesterday we had a busy day, we also celebrated Diwali. We had some special food, made lanterns, completed come Diwali maths and coloured Rangoli patterns.

We have been learning all about superheroes this term. Yesterday we met some real life superheroes!

Reception: The Little Red Hen As part of our learning, we found out what ingredients are needed to make bread. We had lots of fun in drama when we acted out the story. Warm crusty bread for snack, what a treat!
