Reception: The Jolly Christmas Postman
In class, we’ve been enjoying The Jolly Christmas Postman and learning all about how letters are sent. This week, we even posted our own letter, hopefully they’ll be arriving with you soon.
Reception: Fruit Kebabs and Patterns
This week we have been looking at patterns. We made fruit kebabs with patterns and had them as our snack, they were very yummy. We also found different things in the class we can make patterns out of.
Reception: Drop Everything And Read session
This afternoon we had our first DEAR session. We could choose where we sat and we chose a book. We enjoyed talking about the books with our friends!
Reception: Symmetry
We have been looking at symmetry this week. We made pizzas, matched Humpty Dumpty back together, made some symmetrical butterflies and had a go at making our own patterns.
