We have been finding out about the artist Henri Rousseau. He painted rainforest and jungle scenes even though he had never visited one. We talked about what we liked and noticed about his artwork. We each chose our favourite painting and first of all told the class our ideas and then we wrote about them. We looked at how he used different shades of green in his work.
