We have sessions of Independent Learning where the children access areas of the classroom. This is a chance for them to ‘show what they know’ about what we have been learning. We have started a new story writing topic and will be writing our very own ‘Portal stories’. Children have been creating their own portals in the building area and Lego. They could give a detailed description and explain their ideas of each side of the portal.
They have been researching rainforests and creating their own artwork. They have also been revisiting asking each other if they like a certain colour in Welsh, and then answering if they do or don’t. They have also had conversations with a character from a story using the ‘MyPhones’.
