We went on a virtual visit to the Kalahari Desert. We used Google Earth and a video and looked around the desert. We found out a lot of interesting facts! We used the atlases to locate Africa and the different countries where you can find the Kalahari Desert. During independent learning a group chose to build the desert from Lego and another group recreated a desert landscape complete with scorpions and big cats!
