Today, we continued our dragon nest building project. Working in our groups, we wrote a short speech to present our nest design. We had to explain our choices, including the location, materials, size, and safety features, as well as any extra special details we added.
We focused on using persuasive language, as we want both our classmates and Goldie, our class dragon, to choose our nest as the best one. The winning team will have the special opportunity to design and build a nest for Goldie to live in within the classroom!
