After suiting up as fierce Celts, we practiced our battle cries and perfected our fiercest stares to prepare for the battles to ahead. (You will find a video of our fiercest stares on Google Classroom.) All that warrior training worked up quite the thirst, so we enjoyed a refreshing traditional apple drink.
Next, we split into small teams to see who could build the best roundhouse. We made our own daub, using Celtic materials – dirt, clay, straw, and water. The Celts used animal dung too. Did we? We got our hands dirty. It was messy, but a lot of fun!
We’re proud of our creations and hope you like them too.
More to follow.
