Nursery: A busy week
As we are nearly at the end of our first full week in Nursery, we thought we would share some photographs with you so you can see some of the things we have been up to!
On Monday Mrs Macey came running to the Nursery to tell us that she had seen something on the CCTV in the office and told us we had better come and have a look. What could it be? We could not believe our eyes, there was a tiger on the yard! We went to have a look, but it had gone! We went back to Mrs Macey’s office to check the camera and there was the tiger on the Nursery yard, but when we went to have a look, he had gone again! We eventually found him on the small yard. We are trying to find out where he came from, and we now know that he is the tiger from the story The Tiger Who Came to Tea. We are looking forward to lots of adventures with our tiger.
Shapes are everywhere, and we had a lovely morning doing lots of shape activities.
Today we started on our My Happy Mind journey. This is an award-winning program for schools and nurseries, families and organisations. It teaches preventative habits that support mental health, resilience and self-esteem.
Tomorrow is Forest School, lots of pictures will be posted!
