Nursery: A visitor 

On Tuesday,  as it was such a lovely morning we decided to go for a Welly Walk on the field.

We were looking for different coloured leaves, when suddenly, we saw a scarecrow by the fence. We ran over to investigate.

The scarecrow had a red envelope tucked inside his shirt, and under his arm there was a book!

Mrs Jarvis read the letter to us, it was from Harry O Hay, it said that he was lost and could we help him find his girlfriend Betty O Barley.

We sat down on the grass and listened to the story of Harry and Betty in The Scarecrow’s Wedding.

We took Harry back to class, and now we are going to help him find Betty.

What adventures we are going to have!
