Nursery: Remembrance Day
In Nursery we have been finding out about Remembrance Day.
We made poppies using play dough, paint, cake cases, straws and paper plates.
At snack time we decorated biscuits with red and black icing to make them look like a poppy.
We took the red and green chalks out at play time and drew poppies on the yard and walls.
At 11am we went outside with the rest of the school, and we stood really quiet for a minute to remember all the soldiers. Two of the older children laid a poppy wreath by the tree.
We stood by the tree and said thank you to all the brave men and women.
