The children in Class 2 have begun planning our topic for the term- ‘Wonderful Wales’ They have already written lots of questions that will guide our topic. There were a lot of questions about dragons!
We are also going to have a Cafe in our Role Play area, so we began by answering one of the questions generated by the children- Which are traditional Welsh foods? We used the internet to research and then in our Welsh lesson we practised asking and answering questions about these foods such as Wyt ti’n hoffi..? and Beth wyt ti’n hoffi? We are going to add these traditional Welsh foods to our Cafe menu so that during independent learning we can rehearse these language patterns and also use our Money skills in the Cafe.
