Class 3: 🍎 Welsh Traditions – Making a Perllan 🍏

Celebrating the Welsh Tradition of Callenig
Today, we had lots of fun learning about the Welsh New Year tradition of Callenig. As part of this tradition, we made Perllans , special good luck charms that children traditionally carried around to welcome in the New Year.
We collected our materials outdoors before coming back inside to complete our designs. It was quite tricky to get the apples to balance on three legs, but we persevered and everyone succeeded!
We are very proud of our creations and hope you enjoy seeing them as much as we enjoyed making them!
