Class 2: Homophones

We did some work on Homophones and created our own pictures to help us remember the correct spelling for each word. Then we went outside and had a listening task to decide which was the correct spelling.

Class 2: Typing skills

We used BBC Dance Mat to practise our typing skills. We learned about the home row and finger positions.

Class 2: Developing our sketching skills

We have been practising sketching. We looked at how to use light strokes and plan out the shape first, then to add more and more details. We chose our favourite picture and then sketched the meerkat. We are very proud of our finished sketches.

Class 2: Rehearsing our script and filming

 This week we started to film our documentary about our village. I was so impressed with how hard the children have worked to learn their words- they were amazing!  Thank you so much for helping them. We hope to finish next week and then show you the finished film. 

Class 2: Virtual visit to the Kalahari Desert

We went on a virtual visit to the Kalahari Desert. We used Google Earth and a video and looked around the desert. We found out a lot of interesting facts! Class 2: VE Day 2025

We had so much fun! We played playground games, danced ‘The Lambeth Walk’,  sang songs, made flags, decorated biscuits and had a lovely street party!
