Today we were excited to return to Forest School and what a fantastic session it was. The children had a wonderful time exploring the outdoors. They were digging, climbing and creating in our natural environment. Although the heavy rain made an appearance (and limited our photo opportunities), it certainly didn’t dampen our spirits!

Today, we enjoyed the next session with our cricket coach. Unfortunately, the rain meant we had to move indoors, but that didn’t stop us from having a great time! The children worked hard to develop their batting skills and is an area we will continue to work on. 

This week, we had our third cricket coaching session with Chance to Shine. We are really enjoying the warm up games. During the session, we focused on developing our bowling skills, paying close attention to our step, swing, straight arm and balance. This week, we enjoyed our second cricket coaching session with Chance to Shine. During the lesson, we focused on improving our throwing technique, thinking carefully about our arm position and aiming in the right direction. We had lots of fun playing games where we aimed at targets.
