Class 3

We had a lot of fun taking part in the BeatBox Challenge today. We performed tricks to music. Some fantastic skills shown. 

In September, the children worked in pairs to complete a ‘Photo Challenge’. We worked well together and came up with some creative ideas. To top it off, we were outside on a glorious day. 

Yesterday, we welcomed Team Wales to school. They were here to talk to us about representing Wales at the Commonwealth Games. We met Charlotte Evans (a swimmer) and Jacob Edwards ( a gymnast). On Monday, PC Hulley came to talk to us. We discussed the importance of following rules when you belong to a community. We enjoyed designing our own parks for the community to enjoy.

Last week we took part in a water workshop. We found out why it is important to save water. 

We were put into groups. We were given a piece of paper, sellotape, four pieces of string and a felt tip. We had to work out how to draw a picture of a house on the paper, but we could not touch the felt tip once we started to draw. We discussed our ideas as … Read more

First we launched them and judged the height they reached and then we angled the launcher and judged the distance they shot up the school field. What a fantastic afternoon – it was really exciting as you can see by our faces!
