An amazing adventure at Caernarfon Castle today. We climbed up so many towers, we saw the deep well, the castle kitchens – we even went in the oven! A day to remember with glorious sunshine too!
Today we had an amazing tour of the deep mine at Llechwedd. We spent 90 minutes underground learning how slate was mined and how local men and children risked their lives hanging from ropes drilling with a metal rod. We picked out a castle and we had to devise a presentation to sell our castle to our class. We had to persuade them that our castle was the best family destination!
Nursery: Forest School We had a wonderful time in Forest School last week. Lorraine had an area where she was showing us how to use the tools safely. We played in the castle, made spoon people and some of us had a chill in the hammock! We love our Forest Fridays!
