Nursery: Fun with shapes This week in Nursery, we have been busy finding out about shapes! We used the iPads to play a game where we had to match up shapes. We had sand in small trays and made shapes with our fingers. The best activity was making shape biscuits, yummy!

We started today off well! We tasted white, milk and dark chocolate and had to describe it. We had some lovely ideas and excitement about the topic!

Today we enjoyed the sun home. We played 1,2,3 Where are you? Some children made a lovely hot chocolate cafe in the mud kitchen. We had some super teamwork making a wildlife enclosure, too.
We had a wonderful first week back in school. To kick things off, the children took part in a fun and creative photography challenge. This afternoon we had Forest School. We had some ‘Free Play’ time. There was a castle with princesses, fort games and den building.
We had lots of fun this morning as part of a Make Some Noise music workshop. We sang and danced along to some great songs and music! It was delivered by Wrexham Music Co-operative.
This term, our Christian value was endurance, and it’s been lovely to see how our pupils have put this to work. Every member of staff was asked to nominate a child who showed exceptional endurance, perhaps by persevering through a tricky challenge, supporting a friend in difficulty, or demonstrating determination in their learning.
