Our focus this week was Remembrance Sunday. We made poppies out of wooden discs and used nails to vary the design. We made dens, used the hammock, made poppy wreathes out of leaves and put on a play on the outdoor stage. Dros ryddid collasant eu gwaed. Byddwyn yn eu cofio.

We had a fantastic day at Chester Zoo. We saw almost all the animals there and we loved the time we spent in the tropical areas and realm of the red ape. A highlight of the morning was seeing all the Blue Morpho butterflies! I need to also say how brilliantly behaved all the children … Read more

We have been finding out about the artist Henri Rousseau. He painted rainforest and jungle scenes even though he had never visited one. We talked about what we liked and noticed about his artwork. We each chose our favourite painting and first of all told the class our ideas and then we wrote about them. … Read more

We have been very busy creating new shades of green. We measured out green paint and then added different amounts of black. We gave each new shade its very own name.

Class Four: Coding Micro:bit to track fitness We devised a coding sequence to instruct Micro:bit to track our fitness. We then wore it on or wrist or popped it in our sock. It transferred the information back to the laptop!
