In September, the children worked in pairs to complete a ‘Photo Challenge’. We worked well together and came up with some creative ideas. To top it off, we were outside on a glorious day.
Yesterday, we welcomed Team Wales to school. They were here to talk to us about representing Wales at the Commonwealth Games. We met Charlotte Evans (a swimmer) and Jacob Edwards ( a gymnast). Nursery: Internet Safety Day This morning in Nursery we have been learning all about keeping safe on the internet. Smartie the Penguin has been helping us!
In Ysgol Goedwig this week, we used natural materials to extend our classroom learning on Kyffin Williams. We made the painting we are studying in class with whatever we could find in the outdoors. Also we used trees to support our den building and used wool for craft.

We made Lego models to represent the story of Santes Dwynwen. Some children made the church, some made the lighthouse and some chose to make a heart representation. Also, in Forest school we made various heart shapes and table decorations out of natural materials.
PC Hulley came in to speak to us about Anti-social behaviour. We had to work in groups to design our ‘dream playground’. We loved choosing the different play equipment. Then we had to leave the room. We drew a design and labelled it. Then we started our creations! Using recycled cardboard and different collage materials we created dragons. We will use split pins to join the parts so that we can move them in our animations.
