Nursery: Fun with shapes

Nursery: Fun with shapes This week in Nursery, we have been busy finding out about shapes! We used the iPads to play a game where we had to match up shapes. We had sand in small trays and made shapes with our fingers. The best activity was making shape biscuits, yummy!

Yn meithrin for excellent listening and for being a super helpwr heddiw. Yn dosbarth 1 for trying hard with Expressive Arts and listening. Yn dosbarth 2 for being very polite and well mannered. Yn dosbarth 3 for a good start to Class 3. Yn dosbarth 4 for an excellent start to Year 5.

Class 2: Madras Chocolate tasters

We started today off well! We tasted white, milk and dark chocolate and had to describe it. We had some lovely ideas and excitement about the topic!

Class 2: Chocolate wrappers

We will eventually make our own wrapper for our chocolate bars. This week we looked at lots of different wrappers. We looked at all the different colours, shapes and the designs. Class 2: Forest School

Today we enjoyed the sun home. We played 1,2,3 Where are you? Some children made a lovely hot chocolate cafe in the mud kitchen. We had some super teamwork making a wildlife enclosure, too.

Class 3: Photography Teamwork Challenge 📸

We had a wonderful first week back in school. To kick things off, the children took part in a fun and creative photography challenge. Class 2: Forest School

This afternoon we had Forest School. We had some ‘Free Play’ time. There was a castle with princesses,  fort games and den building. 

Class 2: Make Some Noise!

We had lots of fun this morning as part of a Make Some Noise music workshop. We sang and danced along to some great songs and music!  It was delivered by Wrexham Music Co-operative.
