School Council help a fundraiser at Easter. They organised an egg lucky dip, nail painting, face painting, sweets in a jar and a ‘Guess where the Easter Bunny went on holiday’. They raised over £100. Da iawn!
Today in DCF we used pixilart.com to animate our digital characters. After we completed the Bouncy Ball Challenge – we designed a ball, animated it so it bounces and then we changed them into Gifs to share on our Google Classroom.
We have been practising sketching. We looked at how to use light strokes and plan out the shape first, then to add more and more details. We chose our favourite picture and then sketched the meerkat. We are very proud of our finished sketches.
This week we started to film our documentary about our village. I was so impressed with how hard the children have worked to learn their words- they were amazing! Thank you so much for helping them. We hope to finish next week and then show you the finished film.

We had some visitors that left us some presents on the field. We didn’t know who they were, but we had a good guess. We asked Miss Mira to check the cameras and there they were, 3 pigs in our school. I wonder what will happen next!
