Class 2: Exploring reflective materials

As part of our Light topic we have been predicting which materials would be reflective. We had to design a new book bag for school that would reflect car headlights in the dark. We worked on groups to test the materials and then order them from most reflective to least reflective. 

Nursery: Eisteddfod

Nursery: Eisteddfod On Friday 1st March we had a wonderful time celebrating St David’s Day by taking part in the Foundation Phase Eisteddfod. We took part in some of the competitions, we painted dragons and made dragons from clay. We sang and performed a folk dance that we had been learning.

We had a lot of fun taking part in the BeatBox Challenge today. We performed tricks to music. Some fantastic skills shown.
