We took part in an online workshop provided by the RAF. It was a STEM challenge. The aim of the challenge was to build three different gliders, each with a unique shape or structure. We had to build, test, record and improve our designs. This helped us to explore how our design choices affected flight.
This week we took part in a workshop by Xplore. We looked at how all the different parts of our body work together as a mini community to ensure we are happy, healthy and safe. This linked in perfectly with our Christian value of Koinonia.
Thank you to Seiclo Cymru for our recent Y6 Cycling Proficiency course. The children really enjoyed it. They have learned a lot about road safety, signs, lines and safe riding on the busy roads. Reception: November 5th Remember remember the 5th of November! What fun we had finding out all about Guy Fawkes and Bonfire Night.
Nursery: Numbers We love numbers and we had lots of fun in the different activities.
Nursery: November 5th We had lots of fun learning all about Guy Fawkes and Bonfire Night. We took part in lots of activities, and finished off with sparklers made out of marshmallows, chocolate and sprinkles!
Urdd: Mr Urdd This month in Urdd Club, we painted pictures of Mr Urdd onto small stones. When they are finished we will put them outside the main entrance. As it was Bonfire Night, we had sparklers made from breadsticks, melted chocolate and sprinkles for our snack.
Nursery: My Happy Mind We have been learning all about our brain, our brains are totally amazing! Today we made brains out of pink play dough.
